Dutch Textile Rousseau table runner
Although he never left France, Henri Rousseau imagined the flora and fauna of faraway places to create his lush jungle atmospheres. This tapestry was inspired by the thick orange grove and purple flowers in Woman Walking in an Exotic Forest and is now available as a decorative table runner.
Designed exclusively for the Barnes Foundation, this fabric is woven on traditional Flemish looms, taking advantage of weaving skills learned from many generations of tapestry production, making your bag a one-of-a-kind piece of original art.
Handwoven textile with canvas backing. Measures 55" in length and 17" in width. Shown with Dutch Textile Rousseau pillow.
