Paul Cézanne notecard folio

Paul Cézanne is considered one of the most influential artists in the history of Modern art. Cézanne's analytical approach to painting̶his attempt to represent the "structure," or geometry, underlying nature and all his subjects̶challenged the spontaneity of Impressionism and influenced many avant-garde movements of the twentieth century, including Cubism and Fauvism. This folio features two portraits of Cézanne's wife, Hortense (née Fiquet), Portrait of Madame Cézanne, 1888-1890, and Woman with Green Hat (Madame Cézanne), 1891-1892.

Ten assorted full-color 5 x 7 in. blank notecards (5 each of 2 designs) with envelopes in a decorative folio.
