Wrought Iron Candlestick
Vermont blacksmith Steve Bronstein has been creating sculptural and functional ironwork for over 25 years. The Barnes Foundation's founder, Dr. Albert C. Barnes, believed that the creators of wrought iron were "just as authentic an artist as a Titian, Renoir, or Cézanne." For this reason, Dr. Barnes included examples of antique wrought iron in his collection, and displayed them alongside the paintings in the gallery, where they can be seen and appreciated today.
Available in sizes ranging from approximately 6 to 16 inches (15.24 to 40.64 cm). Each one is sized to fit a standard taper candle. Hand-rubbed oil finish keeps the rustic patina and needs no special maintenance. The image shows three candlesticks (16, 12, and 9 inch), but each one is sold separately.
