Barnes Mosaic tote

This canvas tote features a silkscreen print inspired by the custom mosaic floor designed for the Barnes by architect Billie Tsien. Our mosaic pays homage to Dr. Barnes's integration of African work in his collection, and was inspired by Ghanaian kente cloth pattern called the liar's cloth. The name comes from its use in tribal law; a chief or elder wears the fabric when adjudicating on truth versus lies.

About the Company

Untitled Union

Untitled Union

Latine founders Anamaria and Adalberto observed how the gift industry lacked products made by BIPOC artists and created Untitled Union to celebrate the artistry, diversity, and talent of underrepresented communities. Their mission was simple—collaborate with artists of color to produce merchandise for museum stores and book shops across the country. In less than five years they have launched dozens of releases and prioritized ethical manufacturing through partnerships with fair trade manufacturers.
